Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026
This policy explains what personal information Fine Dinaar collects, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
Fine Dinaar is a food and hospitality photography studio based in London, United Kingdom, operating as part of workbyaar. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Fine Dinaar is the "data controller" of your personal information.
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at info@finedinaar.com.
What information we collect
- Information you give us. When you email us or make an enquiry, we collect the details you choose to share — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, in server logs used for security and performance.
- Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When it does, your IP address is shared with Google in order to deliver the fonts to your browser.
We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics, and we do not track you across other websites. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and discuss potential work.
- To provide, plan, and deliver photography and film services if you become a client.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
Our legal basis
We rely on the following lawful bases under the UK GDPR:
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries and run our studio.
- Contract — where we are taking steps to enter into, or perform, an agreement with you.
- Consent — where you have voluntarily contacted us or agreed to a specific use of your data.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers that help us run the studio, including:
- Netlify — website hosting.
- Pixieset — hosting of client galleries and portfolio collections.
- Google Fonts — delivery of website typefaces.
- Email providers — to receive and respond to your messages.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Client project information is kept for as long as necessary to deliver the work and meet legal and tax obligations, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, our processing;
- request a copy of your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these, email info@finedinaar.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children
This website and our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.
